I love this cooler. I pack 2 days of food. 9 bottle waters and my small TV dinner in it. Then on the outside pockets I fit small snacks like beef jerky, cheese and peanut butter crackers, pack of gum. In the front pocket I but 2 P&J sandwiches and 2pop tarts for breakfast. On one out side pocket I have my glucoses meter and my head light. This works great so far
I kept going back and forth over the size of bag I want for my lunch. I decided on this bag because I liked the look, it allows me to bring a variety of food (thermos for stew/chilly etc, salad, bottles of water,, bread, cutlery, and even a placemat). If you're not into fancy lunches, this product might be a little excessive size wise but you can also use it for other things like day trips.
Pleasantly surprised at how big this lunchbox was when it arrived. It holds a lot, and would definitely not be for someone just packing a sandwich. I have two of the Rubbermaid lunchblox square icepacks, a Fresca, 1.25cup easy find lid container, large zip bag, and two large 4.7 cup brilliance containers.. all fit easily and snuggly in the main pouch, still plenty of room in the front pouch and cup holders. It’s really the perfect size if you’re having to take in a few meals to work every day without having to play Tetris to make it all fit. My only complaint would be I wish there was a mesh zip on the cover so I could put additional ice packs in it to keep the food extra cold.
Great size. Stylish. Love the side pockets. I used a full size water bottle to show how big it is. Other reviews say it is NOT leakproof, which I would have to agree, but unless you're spilling soup or pouring a cup of liquid into it, it should be fine handling the basic sweat from water bottles or condnesation from hot foods. I like the way it holds shape and isn't flismy. It took awhile and a few returns to find the perfect lunch box for me with size/shape/elasticity but this is the one!!!
It is easy to clean. It's durable. It's big. I put ice packs in it and it keeps everything cold for my 9 hour shift. And everything is still cold when I come home at night. I don't keep it in direct sunlight but I assume that even outside jobs will keep their lunch in the shade somewhere. This thing is great. It's well made and looks fancy. People have complimented it. The only draw back is the zippers. They do not have holes so I can not put my lock through the zippers on this bag. Thankfully I don't need it at this job. I have my own space. But if you look your zippers on your lunchbox with a small pad lock then I'd advise getting a different bag.. or you could change out the zippers.. which is what I may do eventually. I have not tested this bag with ice and water.. I use igloo brand ice packs.
